One fine day, I had come to meet my old friend Bhakti. She’d been pestering me to come and check out &then. The visit happened just after I quit my job post a bad experience, only to land into a roller coaster ride.
My 1st interaction with Sidhraja was over lunch. I ate his dabba (with lots of love and oil from his mom). Decided – let’s come and try the place.
Initially, it seemed chilled out… It only seemed. Was put on a pitch for a pen drive where Bhakti and I re-worked the presentation 3 times. The story doesn’t end, the next pitch we were working till 6 a.m. looks can be deceptive” in the real sense. I mean &then seems fun on the outside, but when it comes to work they’re serious on the inside.
After that life became a complete rollercoaster ride. Setting up the new office. The grand beginning of the numerous foozball tournaments and ofcourse lots and lots of fun.
& then, met Vikram, Meera & Soham – our creative heads. Over a period of time realised they’re good foozball players.
Then came another pitch, everyone went all out in &then style. The strategy was to make the client sell his product by calling his non-consumers FOOLS.
A few weeks later – a surprise birthday party hosted by our official munshi Anoop was a warm welcome after everybody had forgotten about it in the morning. They did make up for it though.
not to forget the cake on my face.
&then is as noisy and busy as a fish market. With so many new people and our newly discovered sport – food fights its a cool one at that.
Mornings begin with Shagun and me exchanging cheek pulls and poke fights. In the midst of work, &then is fun, at times stressing when clients behave like clients. I’ll remember &then for the steep learning curve and a wholelotta eye-opening lessons.
I will leave my blog incomplete. Chopsticks (as I’ve been pet-named) will be back to play some more foozball.
&then some more
